The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell Lieutenant Governor of Ontario

Badge of Life Canada is proud to announce that the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario will be delivering the opening remarks of this year’s event at the Horseshoe Resort in Ontario. We hope that you are able to attend to listen to this “Storyteller-in-Chief”.

Her Honour has set out to engage with Ontarians through a variety of community events, encouraging people to listen to each other and to engage in meaningful dialogue, including mental wellness and Public Safety Personnel.

The Lieutenant Governor plays a key role in supporting organizations making outstanding contributions to civil society. To this end, the Lieutenant Governor from time to time grants her viceregal patronage to community, charitable, military, and cultural associations, as well as public service organizations, lending them support and recognition.
