As a paramedic, I learned that to maintain my mental health, I needed support. Support, because I realized that I needed help to make the changes that I wanted to happen, but I had to find the ‘right fit’. This experience, offered me a perspective that I had not considered before, when are struggling, are in pain or experience uncomfortable and disorienting physical or psychological symptoms, may not know where to look. It can take time to find the right ‘fit’.

When you find the right ‘fit’ – it all comes together.

As someone who has witnessed many things; lived in many places; and has changed careers a few times, I know that being a therapist is the ‘right fit’ for me. I imagine I know what you are going through as I have been there. The details of the story will be unique, because you are a unique.

Sometimes it feels like there are parts of ourselves that are ‘missing’.

My philosophy is that I am a companion on your journey, I will offer different choices, I will support your process and most of all I will not tell you how to feel or think. As a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) I understand the connection of the mind, body and spirit (however you see that) and I will work with you to renegotiate and reintroduce you to all of who you are.

We start slow and build up your confidence with choices, knowledge and integrating supportive practices in your life. We will think ‘out of the box’ and find a way forward and to feeling whole, well and healthy that works for you.
