Empathy, compassion, and curiosity are the cornerstones of my practice. As a trauma-informed clinician, I work with adults whose lives and well-being have been impacted by their lived experiences. If you’re struggling with your mental health, or feeling overwhelmed by the things that have happened to you, I can help you to sort through your thoughts and feelings and work towards greater clarity and stability.
My areas of specialty include working with gender minorities and 2SLGBTQ+ folks, as well as people who live with trauma, complex trauma, depression, and anxiety. I am also happy to work with you around issues related to your identity, and the impacts of systemic oppression.
I primarily practice narrative therapy, but am also well versed in single session brief narrative therapy, solutions focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and CBT based approaches. No two people are alike, so my approach is tailored to you and your goals. Together we will work to re-imagine your life stories, grow your inner resilience, and tap into the intrinsic wisdom and skill you possess.
Outside of work you might find me reading, baking, going on long, rambling walks, or painting.
