First Responder Chaplain Training and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing training.
 Date: September 8 – 12, 2020 Registration Due: August 1, 2020

Location:  Badge of Life Canada office 2825 ON-6, Lion’s Head, ON N0H 1W0

Cost:  $850  (Seven participants minimum required).  If taken separately the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing is $350. (Chaplains required to take both courses over five days). Course contents, nutrition breaks and lunch provided.

 

Accommodation: Can be provided for $50/pm with separate bedrooms and shared bathroom/kitchen for 3 individuals 99 Steps 2 Beach or for four individuals at 89 Steps 2 Beach.There is a grocery store, drug store and hardware store within a minutes walk as well as several restaurants.

Please indicate at time of booking if you wish to make these arrangements otherwise there is a local Motel www.lionsheadbeachmotel.com where you can book your own room.

 

First Responder Chaplain Training and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing

Training provided by Lynne and Bill Rusk as trained by Rev. Robert L. Perkins Ph.D. who is the Executive Director of the California Practical Chaplain Association. Dr. Perkins is a Therapist, Writer and Educator specializing in guiding people to maximize their life to the fullest potential.

Robert is a 14 year law enforcement veteran and former Army Officer. Robert received his Master’s Degree in Theology in 2002 and became an ordained minister with the United Christian Faith Ministries that same year.

Robert continued his education through the University Of Michigan and received specialized training and certification as a Police Chaplain through the International Fellowship Of Chaplains.

In 2004 Robert received his Doctorate in Practical Chaplaincy/Psychology. Robert’s written academic work was published into a textbook entitled “The Practical Guide To Police Chaplaincy” .

Robert is a Board Certified expert in Traumatic Stress and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing. He has served on the Board Of Directors of the Ontario Critical Incident Stress Foundation. Robert is the author of several books on the subject of Chaplaincy.
