Compassion Fatigue Train the Trainer with Françoise Mathieu, M.Ed., CCC., RP
A course for individuals looking to become Compassion Fatigue Educators ONLINE FEBRUARY 2019

Compassion fatigue has been described as the "cost of caring" (Figley, 1982), and it is now widely recognized that people who work in helping professions (healthcare, justice, child welfare, first response etc.) can be profoundly affected by the work they do.

In organizations where traumatic events, secondary exposure, and high-stress are common, having a team that understands how to identify and address some of the very real consequences of the work they do, is vital.

Compassion Fatigue Train the Trainer will give you the tools and resources to educate your team on the basics of compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma and managing the challenges of working in high-stress workplaces. This kind of education is the foundation for ensuring a healthy and efficient team.
