Dr. Tania Bielak is a registered Clinical Psychologist and holds a Doctorate (PhD) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Waterloo. Dr. Bielak has several years of specialized experience in operational stress injuries (OSIs). She served as a Psychologist at the Parkwood Operational Stress Injury Clinic, a specialty clinic serving military personnel, veterans, and members of the RCMP.
She also provided evidence-based assessment and treatment services at the Psychological Trauma Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), caring for psychologically injured workers across occupations, including First Responders.
She uses the latest evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness to successfully support clients with OSIs including PTSD and trauma-related disorders, depression, insomnia, anxiety disorders, and many other related challenges.
She believes wholeheartedly that recovery and positive change is possible. Dr. Bielak is registered with Medavie Blue Cross and the WSIB Community Mental Health Program.
