Hallie Farrow is a clinical and counselling psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Since 2009, she has been providing comprehensive assessments and treatments for a variety of client issues through a trauma-informed lens. Hallie’s scope of practice includes conducting assessments and providing treatment for first responders, including police, paramedics, and firefighters. She has demonstrated a deep understanding of the unique challenges these professionals face.

In her practice, Hallie assesses and treats a range of issues such as PTSD, trauma-related stressors, depression, anxiety, loss, grief, pain, and adjustment to major life stressors. She employs evidence-based treatments like Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD (CPT for PTSD), Exposure Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Additionally, she has conducted assessments for WSIB, Medical/Rehabilitation, Disability, and Catastrophic Impairment for Independent Medical Examination purposes, serving both plaintiff and defense cases. Hallie holds a C-CAT (Mental/Behavioral) certification through the CSME/CAPDA Catastrophic Training Certification Program.

Hallie believes in a collaborative working relationship where clients are active participants in their healing process. She adopts a multicultural framework in her approach, understanding the universality and specificity of each client’s cultural identity. This perspective allows her to provide culturally sensitive and personalized care, respecting and integrating each client’s unique background and experiences.

By combining evidence-based treatments with her profound understanding of trauma and its impacts, Hallie helps clients navigate their healing journeys with empathy and expertise. Hallie looks forward to continuing her work with individuals seeking to enhance their well-being and quality of life.
