Does not accept work from a Workplace Injury Board or equivalent

Working in public safety is hard! I spent 26 years working for the Correctional Service of Canada as a first responder and that is what prompted me to become a therapist. I remember being frustrated with the employee assistance program providers because they could not understand what it was like to work in our environment. I know our jobs affect so many aspects of our lives like our health, our families, and our feelings. I believe in short-term therapy to help you return to the best version of yourself. I want to help you identify the strengths you may not know you have or may have forgotten and use those to optimize your current situation.

I believe both pro-active therapy to help build resilience and reactive therapy to process traumas can be helpful. I also work with kids from the age of 12 and up to help them make sense of their parents complicated work.

Contact me for a free consult to see if we are a good fit. I provide bilingual services.
