Khatiza has had the privilege to work with a variety of demographics in her practice including first-responders, members of the Canadian-Armed forces, and individual from a diverse set of backgrounds. She believes that an individual’s life experiences influence their perception, which in turn dictates one’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Khatiza aims to incorporate your wisdom and strengths when designing a customized treatment plan to overcome the challenges you are experiencing. Her approach to therapy is to understand her client as a whole and identify causes that may be hindering their ability to effectively respond to difficult situations. Her goal is to provide a non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts without hesitation and successfully learn new ways to respond to daily stressors.
