I’m a workers’ compensation lawyer in Toronto. I help injured workers in the GTA and across Ontario with their WSIB claims and appeals—including police officers who have been hurt or traumatised in the course of their duties.
I’ve been practicing workers’ compensation law for over a decade: first as a law student at the legal clinic Advocates for Injured Workers, and then throughout my career as a lawyer.
At the beginning of my career, I worked for five years at Green & Chercover (now Ursel Phillips Fellows Hopkinson), a firm that represents many Police Associations in Ontario. As part of the firm’s police law team, I learned a great deal about the conditions that police officers work in on a day-to-day basis.
Since then, I have also worked at the Office of the Worker Adviser and IAVGO Community Legal Clinic, both of which specialize in workers’ compensation law.
Now, in my own practice, I’m committed to providing legal services that are affordable for working people like police officers, by charging reasonable rates and tailoring the level of service and fee structure to fit each client’s budget.
