Regan believes strongly in client centred care and co creates treatment plans to help clients reach their goals, together. Her educational background is a Social Service Diploma, a Bachelor of Social Work, a Concurrent Disorder Certificate, a Graduate Teaching Certificate and is in the final stages of completing her Masters of Social Work. She is completing her master’s thesis which is an Ontario research study on compassion fatigue, women as frontline healthcare workers during the covid 19 pandemic. She has many certificates from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine in CBT for a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, psychosis, self-harm, addictions, eating disorders, trauma and phobias. She is also a certified in Critical Incident Group debriefer and does this in the North West Ontario region.

She is a registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist through OCSWSSW., a Compassion Fatigue educator, and The Kenora and Area Ambassador for the Ontario Association of Social workers (OASW). She is also trained in many modalities such as CBT, EFT, DBT, CPT, Solution Focused Therapy, etc. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and has speciality training or supervision in working with Indigenous people, couples, children, dissociation and first responders

She has 20 + years’ experience working with individuals, groups, cultures, diagnosis, disorders, and resiliencies of all ages. Her background is working in child welfare, violence against women, post-secondary education, psychotherapy as well as management and clinical supervision.

She is open to tackling anything together, advocating for you and supporting you in meeting any of your needs. She works from a trauma informed, anti-racist/oppressive, inclusive approach. She will go at your pace and pivot as needed.

Clinical Psychologists

Clinical Psychologists are required to complete a related Masters and Ph.D. program to practice in the province of Ontario that must be research-based and subsequently have a thesis component. They are governed by the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).
