Cambridge, ON – Michelle Lucci
Ms. Lucci is a registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario to practice in the area of Clinical Psychology. She has provided psychological assessment and treatment to adults and couples since 2004. Ms. Lucci completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University and her graduate studies at the Adler University in Chicago.
Through her work in private practice psychology clinics, Ms. Lucci has acquired extensive experience in providing clinical psychological services utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), relaxation strategies, insight-oriented therapy, as well as interpersonal and emotionally-focused therapeutic approaches.
Clinically, her broad range of experience includes working with clients struggling with mood disorders such as depression; anxiety and phobias; post-traumatic stress disorder; acquired brain injury; adjustment disorders due to disability; grief and bereavement issues; chronic pain management; and relationship difficulties.
She is a trained trauma therapist who has extensive experience working with complex developmental trauma as well as the first responder population. In addition to being a treatment provider, Ms. Lucci is a facilitator with the Hamilton Police Services training branch Additionally, she offers her professional support to Badge Of Life S.O.L.E Sistas program, a retreat program that offers experiential trauma healing for female first responders. Most recently, Ms. Lucci has been asked to co-lead the Healing Tree program, which is a group based therapy program, providing a safe environment for families to begin to heal after a homicide.
In late 2016, Ms. Michelle Lucci became the Director of the Cambridge Psychology Centre and now carries on Dr. John Cole’s legacy as a community oriented mental health service hub.
