I am a senior fire service executive with extensive experience leading large urban departments as both Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief. Throughout my career, I’ve been a committed advocate for first responder mental health, with a particular focus on the intersection of peer support and organizational resiliency.

I am honored to be involved with Badge of Life Canada and continue our work in providing vital support to those who serve and protect our communities, ensuring they have the resilience and resources needed for their challenging roles.

I’ve built a strong record of collaboration with government agencies, WSIB, and firefighter unions to advance legislative and policy-driven health and safety initiatives. Guided by a philosophy of servant leadership and a deep belief in character development, I work to foster a culture of proactive wellness and post‑traumatic growth across the public safety sector.

Clinical Psychologists

Clinical Psychologists are required to complete a related Masters and Ph.D. program to practice in the province of Ontario that must be research-based and subsequently have a thesis component. They are governed by the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).

Registered Psychotherapists

Registered Psychotherapists (RPs) are registered by the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and, like Registered Social Workers and Clinical Psychologists, are permitted to perform the controlled act of psychotherapy.
