the story
About me
I’ve been a firefighter for 18 years and continue to actively serve in the role. Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand the impact that trauma can have—not just on individuals, but on entire teams and families. That’s why I’ve been committed to Peer Support for many years, offering resiliency training and walking alongside others as they navigate their own healing journeys.
It’s incredibly rewarding to see people regain their strength and move forward. I’m grateful to be part of that process.
Overview And Experience
Honored to be part of Badge of Life Canada
Many individuals struggle with psychological injuries, and peer support groups often become an integral part of their recovery journey. A common reflection shared after attending the first or second session is, “I feel like I am no longer alone.” This moment of connection can serve as a powerful turning point in the path to healing.
Badge of Life Canada provides a safe and supportive environment for Public Safety Personnel and their families to come together and share their experiences.
My own journey through psychological stress injuries sparked a deep commitment to learn, grow, and find ways to support others facing similar challenges. Personal development remains a constant pursuit, driven by the desire to be of service. Our goal is to assist others in their recovery, and we have witnessed firsthand the positive impact of peer support meetings.
Through connection, we grow stronger—together
