Badge of Life Canada was honoured to be part of the York Region Paramedics Family Day—an event filled with connection, appreciation, and community spirit. It was a meaningful opportunity to engage with paramedics and their families, share resources, and highlight the importance of mental wellness within the public safety community.
We were grateful to bring Flanders, our Canine Assisted Intervention Animal, who quickly became a favourite among kids and adults alike. Moments like these remind us of the power of presence, peer connection, and the strength that comes from supporting one another.
Thank you to York Region Paramedic Services for including us in this special day and for all you do to serve our communities.

Canadian Public Safety personnel and their families are never on this journey alone. Organizations like Badge of Life Canada are here to be a part of that journey with a pro-active approach to mental wellness. We need to continue the dialogue in order to transform the culture. We are always open to positive comments and suggestions. You can reach us on our website at BadgeofLifeCanada.org.
