Badge of Life Canada was proud to attend the Police Association of Ontario’s Annual Banquet in Ottawa—an evening dedicated to honouring the commitment, leadership, and resilience of those who serve across the province. We were grateful for the opportunity to connect with public safety leaders, frontline members, and advocates working toward meaningful change in mental health support for our policing communities.
Flanders, our Canine Assisted Intervention Animal, also made the trip—taking in the sights of our nation’s capital and winning hearts wherever he went. His presence continues to open doors for connection and remind us of the healing power of companionship.
Thank you to the PAO for including us in this impactful event.

Canadian Public Safety personnel and their families are never on this journey alone. Organizations like Badge of Life Canada are here to be a part of that journey with a pro-active approach to mental wellness. We need to continue the dialogue in order to transform the culture. We are always open to positive comments and suggestions. You can reach us on our website at BadgeofLifeCanada.org.
