In an inspiring move towards international collaboration on first responder mental health, Badge of Life Canada’s Executive Director, Laura Kloosterman, recently met with representatives from Oscar Kilo in York. This meeting was a significant step in discussing strategies and sharing best practices for supporting the mental well-being of public safety personnel.

Laura Kloosterman, known for her dedication to mental health advocacy, met with the team from Oscar Kilo, the UK’s National Police Wellbeing Service. The goal was to explore synergies and innovative approaches to mental health initiatives that could be adapted for Canadian first responders.
