Kids Help Phone
Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7, national support service. They offer professional counselling, information and referrals and volunteer-led, text-based support to young people in both English and French.
Whether by phone, text or through their website, you can connect with them whenever you want, however you want.
Their service is completely confidential — you don’t even have to tell them your name if you don’t want to.
Legacy Place Society
Legacy Place Society is the CONFIDENTIAL home away from home that supports First Responders and Military Personnel individually or as a family in providing accommodations during times of family crisis within marriages or for medical attention (Counselling, cancer, occupational stress injury, post traumatic stress, surgery, etc).
Mental Health Works
Mental Health Works is a nationwide social enterprise of the Canadian Mental Health Association Ontario Division.
They provide capacity building workshops, presentations, and webinars that are person centred, evidence based, and solutions focused.
They will help you build mental health awareness, teach you how to respond to challenging situations, and collaborate with you to create a healthier, safer workplace.

The First Responders Cafe
Established January 2018 to provide confidential weekly support groups in several Northern Communities of B.C.
They welcome all First Responders who come together to share their experience, strength, and hope with each other. They are a non-profit registered under the societies act of British Columbia.
Governed by a Board of community minded citizens, and including members of RCMP, EMS, Fire Services, Search and Rescue, Victim assistance Worker, two Medical Doctors with their president Human Resources Manager Hampton Lumber. Their Directors are concerned with the increase in number of suicides in their province. Smaller northern communities do not have the resources as larger centers.

Their “In-person” Peer Support meetings have resumed, however, they are held at a different location.
