Our fifth annual “Advancing Post-Traumatic Growth Event” will be held at the beautiful Horseshoe Resort in Oro-Medonte (Ontario), just north of Barrie, on October 15 and 16, 2026, featuring an expert line up of presenters and panelists.

Badge of Life Canada is pleased to share an upcoming engagement with the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service, where Executive Director Laura Kloosterman will be visiting to present on trauma-informed peer driven approach to support Public Safety Personnel and their Families on the 14th of January 2026.
Executive Director Laura Kloosterman will be presenting to Federal Corrections Peer Supporters on what Badge of Life Canada does and the importance of Peer Support on the 15th of January 2026.
Badge of Life Canada is proud to support Federal Corrections Graduation Day, bringing trauma-informed, evidence-based resources to the frontline professionals who work behind the walls.
The dates include April 8th, 10th, and 15th, 2026, in Kingston, Ontario.
Executive Director Laura Kloosterman and Badge of Life Canada Canine Assisted Intervention dog Flanders will be attending the Ontario Police College (OPC) wellness events to engage with future members of Ontario’s policing community – Promoting mental wellness from day 1 of service.
The events will take place in Aylmer, Ontario, on:
- The 9th of March 2026
- The 8th of June 2026
- The 14th of September 2026
- The 7th of December 2026.
Executive Director Laura Kloosterman will be presenting to the Canadian Veterans Services Society in Calgary on April 25th, 2026.
