Our fifth annual “Advancing Post-Traumatic Growth Event” will be held at the beautiful Horseshoe Resort in Oro-Medonte (Ontario), just north of Barrie, on October 15 and 16, 2026, featuring an expert line up of presenters and panelists.
Executive Director Laura Kloosterman and Flanders of Badge of Life Canada will be attending the Municipal Law Enforcement Officers conference in Kingston, Ontario, on the 14th and 15th of September 2026, as well as presenting to to the National Association on the 29th of October 2026.
Badge of Life Canada is pleased to attend Federal Correctional Wellness fairs on the following dates:
- Collins Bay Institution on 16th of September 2026
- Grand Valley Institution on 22nd of April 2027
- Regional Headquarters in Kingston on 19th of May 2027
- Beaver Creek Institution on the 26th of May 2027
Badge of Life Canada is looking forward to participating in the upcoming Corrections Employee Wellness Events being held at the following locations:
- South West detention centre and Probation and Parole Family Day on the 20th of September 2026
- Thunder Bay Family Day on 3rd of October 2026
Badge of Life Canada is proud to support Federal Corrections Graduation Day, bringing trauma-informed, evidence-based resources to the frontline professionals who work behind the walls.
The events will take place in Kingston, Ontario, on:

Executive Director Laura Kloosterman and Badge of Life Canada Canine Assisted Intervention dog Flanders will be attending the Ontario Police College (OPC) wellness events to engage with future members of Ontario’s policing community – Promoting mental wellness from day 1 of service.
