International University in California.
Prior to being the co-founder of Hiseler, Kelly & Associates, Dr. Kelly worked with the California Department of Corrections, Correctional Services Canada, and with the Ontario Provincial Correctional system where she held the position of Chief Psychologist. Her professional experience working in corrections has provided her with first-hand knowledge of the innerworkings, day-to-day operations, and challenges faced by first responders.
As part of her work with first responders, Dr. Kelly has conducted Wellness Assessments for police to ensure maintenance of psychological well-being while in positions considered to have higher exposure to trauma. She has also conducted trainings with first responder agencies on preventing an occupational stress injury, consulted on the creation of Peer Support Teams, and has been trained in conducting clinical debriefs.
Since opening her private practice, Dr. Kelly has been passionate about working with first responders and their families. Dr. Kelly’s practice supports individual facing a wide range of challenges including:

In addition to treatment, Dr. Kelly regularly conducts assessments to help adjudicate a claim and support treatment through the WSIB Community Mental Health Program.
Dr. Kelly is approachable, attentive, warm, and collaborative. She understands that every person is unique, and treatment approaches should be tailored to meet client’s needs. Dr. Kelly provides a safe and confidential space for clients to explore the thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are causing distress. Her goal is to empower clients by giving them the tools and resources to begin feeling like themselves again (or better!) while also sharing a few laughs and breaking down the stigma of mental health.
Dr. Kelly looks forward to developing a genuine therapeutic relationship with you on your road to self-discovery and growth.
