Dr. Lydia earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Laval University, Quebec, Canada. Her approach is rooted in third-wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a focus on emotion and experiential techniques. She is trained in a variety of therapeutic methods, including Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-focused Therapy, Mentalization-based Therapy, and Somatic EMDR Therapy. She is also certified in Non-Violent Communication (NVC).

Specializing in the unique challenges faced by first responders—particularly police officers—Dr. Lydia has extensive experience treating anxiety, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), operational stress injuries, relationship issues, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, and personality disorders.

Dr. Lydia offers both individual and group therapy sessions, as well as training, workshops, and consultation services. Her authentic, open, and empathetic style, combined with a healthy dose of humor, helps create a trusting space where clients feel comfortable exploring their challenges and making meaningful changes.

Fully bilingual in French and English, Dr. Lydia is able to provide services in either language.

She is registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC) – Registration #2682.

Clinical Psychologists are required to complete a related Masters and Ph.D. program to practice in the province of Ontario that must be research-based and subsequently have a thesis component. They are governed by the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO).
