Natalie Castonguay

Natalie Castonguay is a highly qualified Registered Nurse (RN), Psychotherapist, and Critical Care Nurse with a powerful 25-year background in emergency services. This comprehensive experience includes eight years as an ambulance and law enforcement dispatcher, as well as seven years as an emergency room nurse. She currently serves as a member of the RCMP in International Peace Operations. Known as a “Disruptive Innovator,” Natalie founded an interdisciplinary nurse-led health clinic. This clinic is dedicated to bridging healthcare gaps for underserved populations by utilizing innovative, evidence-based, “out of the box” methods. Academically, Natalie holds a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, a Graduate Diploma in Animal-Assisted Wellness and is actively pursuing her Master of Nursing Science, Nurse Practitioner. She has specialized certifications in psychiatric and mental health nursing, as well as pediatric nursing. Furthermore, she recently co-authored several chapters in the new textbook, The Nurses’ Guide to Psychotherapy, and regularly serves as a consultant and educator in the field of mental health for public safety personnel.
