Suzz Sandalwood is a Registered Social Worker, Advanced Certified Clinical Trauma and Addiction Specialist, and Certified Grief Educator with extensive experience supporting first responders and their families. As both a clinician and a first responder widow, Suzz brings a unique understanding of the emotional toll this work takes not just on the individual, but on the entire family system.

Her practice is grounded in clinical expertise, cultural competence, and lived empathy. Known for her honest, human-centered approach, Suzz creates space where clients don’t have to explain the culture or apologize for how they cope, they’re simply met where they are.

In addition to therapy, Suzz offers grief literacy training and consultation to clinicians, organizations, and helping professionals. Her work blends depth with real-world resonance, always rooted in the belief that healing begins with being seen, fully, and without judgment.
